Pre-recorded Childbirth Education Course

This course will be offered as a pre-recorded class and those who purchase will be given virtual access. The class is 3 hours long but may be watched in increments as long as you have access. Your virtual access will expire after 4 months of purchasing. This is an in-depth course for expecting couples on childbirth that will cover each phase and stage of labor, anatomy and the physiology of labor and birth, baby positioning and helping baby have maximum space in the pelvis, and education on complications and common interventions and procedures. The course additionally covers delivery by Cesarean section, how to prepare for different outcomes, learning about your options and how to advocate for yourselves, and creating a birth plan. The course will also cover postpartum care and recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.

Live Virtual Labor Skills Workshop

This workshop will be offered as a one-time live virtual class lasting 2.5 hours long. The class is offered on Tuesdays from 6:00-8:30 pm. The workshop is designed for expecting couples to learn valuable tools to ease labor and cope with discomfort, and create a deeper connection with each other in preparation for labor. The class will provide couples with the basics of childbirth, but will focus on how to cope in labor with alternative pain relief methods including breathing, massage, and visualization techniques, different laboring positions, and mother directed pushing. Although taught virtually, this is a hands on workshop where couples will actively work together to practice the methods being taught.
