STANDARD BIRTH DOULA PACKAGE
Each prenatal visit will take place in the comfort of your home and may last up to 2 hours. These visits are designed to deepen connection and trust—we want to hear all about your birth preferences, your worries, what you’re excited for, and anything else that is on your mind! We will also use this time to discuss exactly how you would like us to fit into your birth team. If desired, we can teach the ins and outs of labor, and demonstrate and practice coping methods and different laboring positions. Remember—we cater uniquely to YOU. Our ultimate goal is to support you exactly in the way you want. These visits will help us determine how to do just that.
2 Prenatal Visits
In addition to unlimited support via text/email upon hire, we will be on call 24/7 starting at your 37 week mark. In person continuous support will be offered from the onset of labor through up to 3 hours immediately postpartum. Our labor support will be completely catered to your preferences, and will include nonstop physical, emotional, and informational support. We will be happy to assist with taking photographs if desired (not professional). Immediately postpartum, we will be there for baby’s first latch on to provide support in early breastfeeding.
Continuous Labor Support
The postpartum visit will take place in the comfort of your home and may last up to 2 hours. We are here to listen—we want to know what is working for you, what is not working, and how we can use our resources and provide referrals as needed to help you moving forward. We want to hold space for you to tell your birth story, and talk about your experience without judgement. This is an informal visit and we will follow your lead with whatever YOU want to talk about regarding you and your baby. We will do everything in our power to help you feel supported in this time of change.
